Geological slip rate study on Renun Segment of Sumatran Fault in Dolok Sanggul area, North Sumatra using UAV photogrammetry and DEMNAS

Abstract Renun Segment is located in the center of Sumatran Fault, parallel to Famous Toba Lake Volcano. The fault cuts thick, and vast Young Tuffs (YTT) deposited ∼74,000 years ago during supervolcano eruptions. It shows a series noticeable dextral strike-slip offsets river valleys that deeply incised tuffs. Our study will determine geological slip rate this location by measuring river-valley Dolok Sanggul area using UAV photogrammetry DEMNAS images. Detail morphology lineament, monocline, anticline structure. Three rivers about hundred meters deep cross perpendicular line have 585±83 offset. This amount only half other on northern southern parts site. Hence, also slower, approximately 7±1 mm/yr. indicates budget accommodated Samosir Fault Lake.
